Jeff Anderson
Partner – Grand Aviation Services
A native of Glynn County, Jeff as been actively involved in the commercial and residential construction business for over 20 years. Anderson has been the builder of numerous custom-designed homes on St. Simons Island and Sea Island. He has been the general contractor on many commercial building projects including shopping centers, office complexes and aircraft hangars. Jeff was the general contractor for the Gruber Aviation, Inc.'s 28,000 square foot airport hangar which was completed in 2003. Jeff serves as Construction Manager for all Grand Aviation, LLC projects.
Tom Milburn –
Partner – Grand Aviation Services, LLC
Born in Washington, DC, Tom was raised in northern Virginia. A graduate of the
University of Virginia, Tom served as an officer in the US Army from 1966-68. After 42 years of service with the Federal Government, Tom retired in 2007 from the U.S. Department of Justice as an Associate Assistant Attorney General. During his tenure with the Federal government he worked with the General Services Administration, The U.S. Marshals Service, the Justice Department, and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Brunswick, GA. Tom joined the Gruber team as a partner in Grand Aviation Services, LLC in 2010. Tom serves as project acquisitions manager for the Hangar construction enterprise.
Mike & Vanessa Dart
The Dart’s have played an active role at Gruber Aviation. Inc. since the construction of the Hangar itself in 2003. Mike wears many hats at Gruber Aviation – acting as Executive Chef at the Gruber Hangar Café, and as hangar and aircraft services maintenance assistant. Vanessa Dart is a great support to Mike, helping to serve the many visitors who frequent the Gruber Aviation Hangar including Friday lunch, where over 50 pilots and ‘friends of aviation’ gather each week to share stories, enjoy a great lunch and support the community. Mike and Vanessa have also been known to entertain guests of the Hangar with their lively and thoroughly entertaining gospel renditions. Mike and Vanessa have 6 children and 15 grandchildren.
Marjorie Gruber
Marjorie is a familiar sight around the Gruber Hangar serving as a Corporate Officer, giving office and personal support to Renn while adding an important sense of family to the entire organization. It is no coincidence that Marjorie and Renn Gruber share the same last name. Marjorie is Renn’s mother and a highly capable business person in her own right having retired as a Senior Vice President & Chairman of the Building Committee from Fort Myers, Florida’s leading financial institution. Around the hangar, Marjorie is known as “Hangar Mother,” her spirit and charm are wonderful additions to the hangar operation.
Tina Owens
Tina is a very important person around at the hangar of Gruber Aviation, Inc. Tina is a certified public accountant and as such handles the money aspects of running an active, multi-dimensional aeronautical enterprise. Tina brings over twenty years of accounting experience working in both the private and public sectors. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BA in Finance. Tina is married and has 2 children ages eleven and thirteen.
